sponsor spotlight
Hi friends!
I am super excited to introduce you to my very first sponsor, Heather Miller-- a local girl, mama of two precious boys & consultant for Jamberry nails. Heather is my very first "sponsor spotlight" and is guest posting today about the company she works for. And because she's so sweet, Heather has even sponsored a fun Jamberry giveaway! Read on to find out how you can enter and get your hands on your very own Jamberry products.
Happy Sunday!
---Hey everyone! My name is Heather Miller and I am super excited to be Ashley's very first sponsor on her adorable blog! She asked me to do a little post about what I do, and that's Jamberry Nails. Have you ever heard of Jamberry before? Chances are no, because we are definitely newer in the beauty world...but we're taking over fast, so let me get you acquainted!
Pollock Potluck readers, meet Jamberry.
Jamberry, meet Pollock Potluck readers.
Cute right?? Yeah, I think so too.
So, now you're all "Tell me more! I want super cute nails like that!"
Ok! Ok! I will. :-)
Jamberry is a vinyl nail wrap that is applied to your nails with heat {hairdryer}. The heat creates a water tight bond between the wrap and your nail and lasts for two weeks on your fingers and six on your toes...although I may or may not have left them on for like ten weeks recently...yeah, that's kind of embarrassing! No crazy tools or anything needed, just your standard mani kit and a hairdryer. It's easy peasy...application goes like this:
Each sheet gives you 2-3 applications based on how long your nails are too. So none of that one time use stuff like you find in the drugstores. The best part is since they're made of vinyl, there's no chipping or scuffing like regular nail polish AND....wait for it....NO DRY TIME! {Insert Hallelujah chorus here!} That means if I start doing my nails while my sweet little boys are sleeping, then someone wakes up before I am done-no biggie. I can just pick up where I left off when I get the chance later that night! It's wonderful I tell ya.
Oh, and did I mention there are over like 250 designs available??
Yeah...it's that serious.
Don't believe me, check them all out here: www.hmiller.jamberrynails.com. There are even designs made specifically for little girls ages 3-8 called Jamberry Juniors!
Soooo, I'm not going to get you all excited about Jamberry and then leave you hanging! No way! I think it's time for a little giveaway! What's in it for you? How about a sheet of Jamberry of YOUR CHOICE?
Here's just a few more to get you all excited...

I just liked your fb page and left a comment!
(Ashley, I'll be blowing up your blog comments now, thanks to your Instagram reminder this morning!)
I just shared the giveaway on my fb page. However, I can't copy it here on my iPad. I tagged Ashley in the post.
Also, here is my tweet: https://twitter.com/sterlingmyers/status/291195183024992256
I liked her fb page and commented. I think pink polka for nails for valentines day or Easter would be fun!
I liked her fb page and commented!
I like the mint chevron - xo
And let's just see if I can actually get the code right to publish another comment... ;)
Polka dots are super cute but I lovvvve Chevron!!
I couldn't pick a favorite. Maybe chevron? Ahh..Too hard!
So fun! I love this idea - it seems like something I could ACTUALLY keep on my nails!
I like things pretty simple, so I would probably choose the white chevron on clear - simple with a little surprise.
I also like all the sparkles!
I am digging the chevron designs.
I commented and liked your page
Loving the peacock nails!
Sparkles and chevron! Can I choose them all? :)
I am the worst about chipping nail polish within about 2 minutes of applying it. Since my one of my NYs resolutions (stop picking my cuticles) comes with the reward of getting a manicure if I make it, this suuuure would be a nice and timely gift! I like all the chevron designs and all of the polka dots! I do hope I win because it looks like I'll be getting some anyway. :)
The gray chevron print is adorable! I love this idea--nail polish can be such a pain and I have no hand-eye coordination so my self-manicures always turn out awful!
The clear, black chevron are my favorite!
I liked Heather's FB page. I also commented. (proof: https://www.facebook.com/HeatherIsJammin/posts/397134297038305)
And, I requested to host a party. :)
I love the alice blue polka dot! Thank you for the fabulous giveaway!
